YouTube Videos of Cheng Man-Ching Forms, Applications and Push Hands Some of these videos on YouTube were so interesting that I wanted to be able to easily find them again. Then I realized I should also make it easy for you to find them. Hence this YouTube videos section of the web site.
Cheng Man Ching The following video, without sound, shows Cheng Man Ch'ing as a younger man doing the form. Notice that the postures are more defined then in videos of him as an older man Cheng Man Ching As he aged, Cheng Man-Ch'ing's forms became softer and more graceful although the postures themselves appear less defined. He is incredibly relaxed in these older videos. Cheng Man Ching This is a video that surfaced from either the 1950's or 1960's of Cheng Man Ching in Taiwan.
Around the middle of the video he does his form followed by a group of his student doing the form with him. They take a long walk together first.

Cheng Man Ching also picks a flower to give to one of the ladies! Cheng Man Ching The following video, in Chinese, discusses who Cheng Man-Ching is and then shows Cheng Man-Ching demonstrating his 37 posture form Cheng Man Ching The following video shows Cheng Man-Ching instructing on correct posture for the bow stance used in the CMC 37 posture form Applications This is a pretty interesting video demonstrating applications of the 37 postures in the Cheng Man-Ching Yang style form. Applications This is essentially the same as the other video except a different camera man shot it so you see the applications from a different angle.
Push Hands This is an excellent video talking about substantial and insubstantial in Push Hands. Enjoy the over-the-top dramatic music for effect.:-) Sword Form I like this video because it is easy to see the directions of the moves because the reference point of a wall in the background. The opening posture is missing.
Sword Form The following video, in Chinese, shows Cheng Man-Ching demonstrating his sword form Sword Form This is a very good demonstration of the Cheng Man-Ch'ing Sword form that can really help to see a lot of the detail not available in other YouTube videos.
